The Joy of Meeting the Divine

Today my heart is filled with joy,
I have attained the treasure rare;
Though countless trials cannot win Hari,
I have met Him standing there…

There are moments in life when the heart overflows with divine bliss—when all the struggles, the prayers, and the patience culminate in the sweet realization of His presence. Such joy cannot be measured, only felt, deep within the soul.

He nourished me with food and jest,
He met with me again, again;
With love and care He gave me joy,
A bliss beyond the speech of men… today.

The Lord’s love is boundless. He feeds not only our bodies but our spirits. Every meeting, every smile, every act of grace nourishes us in ways words cannot express. His joy fills our hearts again and again, overflowing into every part of life.

He gave me grain and fruits and food,
Prasad unmatched, so pure, so kind;
His blessings graced my head, my chest,
My robes His grace within entwined… today.

Prasad is not just food—it is love made tangible, a sacred offering infused with compassion and grace. His touch sanctifies all it reaches, clothing us not only in robes but in His unending mercy.

So many bhaktas came before,
They bore great pain and heavy strife;
Yet God Himself did not appear,
But I have found such joy in life… today.

Through the ages, devotees have longed for a glimpse of the Divine. Many endured immense trials, their hearts burning with devotion. Yet today, in this blessed moment, that joy has become real, that presence tangible.

Where endless bliss and joy abide,
No tongue can ever reach that height;
Nishkulanand in rapture sings of Hari,
His virtues with supreme delight… today.

In the end, all words fall short. The experience of divine love, the joy of union with Hari, transcends speech and thought. Sadguru Nishkulanand Swami captures that bliss in his poetry—an eternal song of gratitude, devotion, and delight.
